A ratchet extension is made up of three parts: the ratchet head, the extension bar, and the socket. The ratchet head is equipped with teeth that only turn in one direction, allowing you to quickly tighten or loosen nuts and bolts without having to constantly remove and reposition the wrench. The extension bar allows you to reach those hard-to-reach areas, while the socket makes it possible to work with different sizes of nuts and bolts.

The advantage of an extension is self-evident. It allows you to reach places that were previously inaccessible. Consider, for example, parts that are not on the surface of your car but deeper in the system.  When ordering an extension, think carefully about the length of the extension bar. It needs to be long enough to reach the desired point, but not so long that it becomes unwieldy. In short, a ratchet extension is a versatile and handy tool that can be a lifesaver in certain situations. Looking for ratchets? You'll find them here.
